IRMAA Table is an independent reference for Medicare's income-related premium surcharges. We are not affiliated with CMS, SSA, Medicare, or any insurer.
How we work
- Official numbers only from official sources. Every current-year figure is copied from CMS or SSA publications and linked on our sources page.
- Projections are labeled. Future thresholds are computed from the inflation formula written in the Social Security Act using Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI-U data, and we show the math. We do not guess future premium dollar amounts.
- Privacy. The calculator runs in your browser. We do not collect what you type.
- Updates. We update pages when CMS publishes new figures, typically each fall.
Editorial policy
- Each page shows a “Last updated” date and links its primary sources.
- Every number is checked against the CMS fact sheet, SSA rules, or BLS data before publishing, and the projection method is reproduced against past official years (2020, 2025, 2026).
- We do not publish projected 2027 premium or surcharge dollar amounts, because they depend on CMS cost estimates rather than a published formula.
- No advertising or paid placement influences the numbers.
